I can't post for yesterday as it's closed, so here is my report for monday a day late and not really applicable to this thread, but my only other options are to not post, or to open another thread for late posts which makes a mockery of things. Do these threads have to be closed so soon (or at all ) ?.

Monday was showers, dull, brighter or drizzle in the afternoon until this darker cloud appeared over the hills from the south whilst out for a walk with the dogs, which came greyer and greyer and drenched us before we reached the car again !.

Evening again heavy showers and about 20mph breeze from the SW or so.

Last night at 1930BST a Tornado was seen in Houghton in Lancashire, 20 houses had there roof tiles taken off and the local Fire Brigade were sent out to clearup the mess, none seems to have been hurt. One eye witness said they saw a bouncy castle around at that time.
