Just been outside in the garden and theres a few spots of rain and it feels very much warmer than the temperature suggests.

It has been cloudy much of the day with some rain AM and a few suuny spells this afternoon,a fresh North wind making it feel colder than the current 8.8c humidity 48%,barometer 1019 and rising.

We've had 3mm of rain from some showery rain over the last 3 or so hours.

Still drizzling now but gradually brightening.

Getting dark here with rain towards the east, seems to be developing, just like what was shown on bbc weather.

TO ADD: Today's high was 19.1°c, and low 6.0°c, and if the clouds i see do what they look like they want to do, the first drop of rain in 12 days, the longest consecutive period without rain this year.

An interesting day which saw the maximum temperature occur just after midnight followed by a gradual fall in temperature throughout the day as the colder air moved south. There were overcast skies with light drizzle in the early hours before it brightened up giving sunny spells in the early afternoon. This evening saw thicker cloud move in, along with a short wintry shower consisting of hail pellets.
