The morning started off sunny with the temperature quickly rising after a cool night. By midday the cloud had built and the sun became more hazy. Despite a change in wind direction to the south and the temperature reaching 17.3°C it didnt feel too warm, especially so in the mid-afternoon when it became totally overcast. It is currently still overcast, although dry, at least for the time being and the temperature holding. With a cold night and mild day, my May average is unaffected today, but still remains almost a degree below the 1971-2000 average.
