Interesting day my be instore for many of us.Cape will be rising up from northern France and over the SW of England peaking moderately this afternoon, LI will be around zero for a time, so thundery showers possible with the bands of rain pushing up from the SW this morning.

Already had a heavy shower around 12.00 and strikes are showing up in the heavy showers in North Devon.
