Im from Telford InThe Midlands

But have noticed a thunderstorm

in SW england around N devon in particular.

And a few lightning strikes have been picked up there.

Here though its just heavy showers

Hey Mister Twister, just down the road from you. Heard the rumble of thunder didn't see the lightning though , the rain has been torrential at times.

storm here in northern ireland just had a flash of lighting and a rumble of thunder edit - just started raining very heavy wind picking up as well now

Have had 1 close lightning strike and loud thunder here a while ago in Barnstaple, North Devon. Also heavy rain a few times.

Yesterday had a good storm just of the coast near Croyde/ Saunton, I was surfing at the time and it was funny seeing people running from the sea! we all know how well electricity travells in salt water!

Sorry I didnt have the time to post it yesterday.

Real slow moving storm this one. Rolling off into the distance now. Not much wind. Heavy ( very vertical ) rain. Great for the garden.

Looking at the radar, that last storm seemed to almost develop over us. Or certainly a little further south.

Just had a very heavy shower with thunder and hail the size of small marbles here in Newtownabbey just outside Belfast. Looks like there could be more to come too

Apparently it was raining at 110mm/hr and has so far dropped 13mm of rain.

Storm now overhead me in Leicester, three flashes of beautiful forked lightning, two overhead so far.

Strange, it just went really dark and didn't even hear this storm approaching! Possibly developed right on top of me?

Heavy rain over Morecambe Bay, with thunder and lightning overhead. Come on very quickly. Sky is very dark!

Some hail fallin with the rain.
