South Dekota Lp Supercell

    This was the end result from a 850 mile drive to the remote area of North West South Dekota (what a mouthful) om May 20th 2005.

    The cell did actually spin up a weak vortex but I could not see any direct conection to the upddaft so I am not adding this to my total tornado count (18 so far)

    Overall I will take storm structure over a torando any day :) ~ unless it is a big wedge <_<

    Wow, what an awesome shaped cloud; it's quite frightening and I think if most people saw that coming towards them they'd probably run away and seek shelter.

    Great Pics Stu, The structure of that Storm is Awesome, Did not see any LP Supercell's in my 12 days in the Us from 7-18 May 05!!!

    That is an amazing picture. Very clear. Shame it didn't produce a tornado.
