Biggest Weeds In The World...

    (sigh), we were having a big clearout down the side of my drive. So this meant an end to my beloved weeds I had been growing them for a few months. I'm not sure if they is a proper name for these weeds but heres a picture of them just after they had been pulled out.

    I got so attached that I actually started watering them and watching them grow everyday! :angry: so maybe its best they have been pulled out!

    The weed is not the one with the red jumper. Thats me!

    they are pretty big weeds! Even though I am the queen of growing weeds (and the queen of killing normal flowers) I dont think I could beat the size of those!

    Seriously, why do weeds continue to grow if you dont look after them, yet flowers that I spend half my life watering, covering in slug pellets and feeding miracle grow wither and die within weeks?! :angry:

    because weeds don't need much in the way of careto grow! whilst flowers need loads...

    I personally blame it on the giant killer slugs that come to life while I am asleep!

    thaknyou, that one is actually an indoor yukka and was bought years ago and had to be repotted as it was litterally bursting out of its pot!

    No, although I am rather shocked when I discover just how greedy slugs can be over night.... I mean - they eat more than I do in one sitting!

    I can remember you posting a picture of a similar style palm to the one on my left! is it a Phoenix palm?

    Yep thats the one, Phoenix Canriensis or the smaller Phonenix?

    Yep no doubting is defintely is. You seem to have a jungle in the greenhouse.
