Heavy rain started about 8:50 am and is now coming down persistently. Skies have turned very dark and there are sporadic flashes of lightening and rumbles of thunder.

It's a relief to get some cooler air. This is the first time this week that opening the windows in the office has actually managed to make a difference to the temp!!

Blimey its only 27.0C here in Canterbury. Must be the effect of the downs in Fav.

Apparently Tonbridge is registering 31c now also, i think it must be the downs..... brogdale nr here may be the highest today.... 34c maybe. but we wont find out until dec/jan as thats when they collate their records
