One of the warmest places in the country at the moment, but it does feel a lot fresher than previous days which is definitely a relief to me :blink: It's damp and dreary, with the odd spot of 2 of rain. Earlier on though, the sun came out and punched a few holes in the cloud, but they seem to be covered once again, and the sun has disappeared too :lol:

After a dull cold morning the clouds suddenly dissipated around 11-30 am and the remainder of the day (up to now) has been delightful-almost unbroken sunshine. Current temperature 17.7c,humidity 53%,light to moderate NNE wind,barometer 1026 mb and rising.

I was awoken by a short spell of torrential rain around 2:30 am this morning. It was quite surprising, as I thought the rain was going to tend to die away during last night. :blink:

Contrary to Mr Deakin's BBC forecast at 10:30pm last night, light to moderate rain continued until around 10:30 am. :lol:

Mr Deakin suggested it would be mainly dry, except for an odd spot of rain at first - and light showers possible over SW England throughout the day.
