Recent sferics over Northern Ireland and western Scotland showing the showers getting heavier there now.

thunder lightining and heavy rain in northern ireland, tryed to get a picture of the lightining but was to slow. warnings have been issued for northern ireland on www.niw.20m.com

Those clouds look rather 'heavy' - was there some very heavy rain coming from this shower?

I heard a forecast of widespread heavy showers with possible hail and thunder just about UK-wide for Monday and Tuesday - so I suppose your shower today is a sign of things to come.

Not exactly a report I'm posting - however, it looks, according to 'Euro Lightning' on 'Net-Weather', that some more storms are breaking out (or have broken out in the past hour or so) just to the north of Dublin. Note the yellow 'x' symbols showing lightning occurring after around 4:00pm this afternoon.

just had some thunder and lightining, and about 10 mins of heavy rain which caused some flooding check out the reports at www.niw.20m.com

edit - forgot to tell you that i have had 3 storms in the last few hours but i couldnt post because the power went off. with really heavy rain, thunder and hail.

edit - storm number 4 on its way very black clouds heading for us

this ones not very good no thunder or lightining just rain

edit - storm now finished wasnt as good as the last one, this one only had one rumble of thunder and heavy rain no lightining

the last storm has now past and i have just looked out of the window and look there is another one not far away hope this one is a bit better

i can hear rumbles of thunder in the distance. whats the weather like everywhere else, i hope yous get some storms during the week
