Report for Wednesday 13th July 2005, Readings taken at 23:50.

A much cloudier day than yesterday, though a little warmer. It started off sunny in the morning but low cloud moved in around midday making the sunshine hazy. This continued into the afternoon, lowering the temperature a little and making it feel less oppressive than of late. The evening saw the cloud break and the sun return, but by then it was much cooler and a lot more comfortable. With high minima and maxima it was once again another above average day, nudging my monthly average even higher at 1.6°C Above the 1971-2000 value.

Baking hot, though not very sunny. It was very suprising last night as it was thick fog with visibility below 100m, in July! Pressure currently falling rapidly.

Afternoon Don,the heavens opened while I was on the Ist hole at my golf course,it was torrential but I heard no thunder although I did expect some.Current temperature 18.1c,humidity 98%, wind light from the west,barometer 1017 mb and falling slowly.
