Report for Saturday 30th July 2005, Readings taken at 23:55.

After a dry and overcast start the rain arrived in the early-afternoon. It was heavy at times and continued pretty much up until the evening when it stopped for a while. It was warm before the rain arrived, reaching 21.7°C. However, the temperature fell rapidly and stayed below 18°C for the remainder of the day, cooling substantially in the last few hours. Despite being cooler later on, the humidity increased making it feel rather sticky. A total of 8.2mm of rain fell today, taking the total for the month to 109% of average.
