Another cloudy start but brightened up by midday, clear skies and sunny at the moment

Today has yet another clear start with plenty of sunshine. It became noticeably humid and the sunshine became slightly hazy behind very thin cirrus. The afternoon cleared again before a bank of cloud blew over bringing the odd spot of rain and a loud bang of thunder. Since then - it has been a lovely, sunny evening with altocumulus castellanus towards the west.

After a mostly cloudy and mild night, the day began in much the same way. The morning and early afternoon saw sunny spells but these became fewer as the day went on. The early evening saw a single shower before the sky cleared somewhat to give some late sunshine. The temperatures today were above average, but high humidity and a lack of wind made it feel close at times.
