    Weather type: Thunderstorms and heavy rain

    Affecting: Southern Uplands of Scotland, east of Cumbria, ne England, parts of Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

    Time and Date Valid For: 1900 Thursday 11 August until 0600 Fruday 12 August 2005

    Time of Issue: 7pm Thursday 11 August 2005

    Thunderstorms are occurring over parts of the border area and will move south east to affect the areas mentioned. There is a risk of 25mm rainfall in isolated instances from these storms. As they move south east they are expected to decrease in intensity, finally moving out into the North Sea. Very isolated and local flooding could occur.
