Hi Stephen,

That pulse of heavy rain now affecting my part of Cheshire. Back edge seems to be slow to clear. Looks bleak for the cricket matches throughout the county and Old Trafford this afternoon.

I was at Castle Combe race circuit Nr Chippenham Wilts (Nr J17 M4) weather was fairly warm and sunny until 12.00pm when the rain band arrived :unsure: .You could see the people that had not looked at the weather forecast, they were just wearing T-shirts :unsure: .I had by waterproof and brolly at the ready, which was just as well as it chucked it down! After 3 hours most people had had enough and were leaving, most soaked to the skin.All in all a good day.

A sunny afternoon gave way to one or two showers,however a very angry CuNim just passed us to the east and thunder was audible for at least 15 minutes. Current temperature 17.1c,humidity 62%,wind moderate or fresh NW,barometer 1008 mb and falling.

A large contrast today,a day of all weather!!!

This morning was very sunny,with some high level cloud spilling in from the west.during the afternoon the cloud really came in and thickened,with rain starting by 3pm.The rain got fairly heavy by 4pm.Lasted about 2 hours then dried up again,.now some dirzzle again!

Temp at present 16C.Pressure currently at 1011 and decreasing slightly now.
