17°C at 8am - why is it so warm? I can't believe this is our minimum surely not -minimum usually at 7-8am.

Cool with a strong northerly blowing. There are a few bits of blue sky, but its only 17c. I am a bit worried as the inlaws are coming over for a BBQ!

I haven't been on net-weather since the first half of the week so I will give you a summary of what it did in Bristol.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with a lot of stratocumulus and altocumulus

but some sunny spells. 25C

Thursday: A beautiful day overall with plentiful sunshine and patchy

altocumulus castellanus. 25C

Friday: A dry and sunny start but cloud building up giving one light shower

later on in the evening. 23C

Saturday: Mostly sunny and dry to start but dark clouds bringing spells of

heavy rain later. Dry again in the evening. 20C

Sunday: Today was a beautiful day from start to finish. There was always

some patchy cumulus or stratocumulus here and there but the

temperature reached another warm 25C at 15.00 this afternoon. A

lovely sunset followed.
