Report for Wednesday 24th August 2005, Readings taken at 23:55.

After a mild night, the temperature gradually fell throughout the morning as rain and strong winds moved in. There were a few short dry periods but the rain lasted until the early afternoon when it became drier. The cloud also broke later on, allowing some pleasant sunny periods in the evening. These sunny periods saw the temperatures rise slightly, just allowing 18°C to be surpassed. At present it is relatively clear and the wind has calmed, meaning the temperature is falling accordingly. Air pressure today fell to a minimum of 998.7hPa at 14:21, very low for the time of year.

Current Temp: 12.6°C

Max Temp: 18.2°C (at 17:15)

Min Temp: 12.6°C (Current)

Humidity: 78%

Min Humidity: 55% (at 18:53)

Pressure: 999.5hPa (Falling)

Dewpoint: 8.8°C

Wind: WSW (Calm)

Rain Today: 9.3mm

My August average currently stands at 16.9°C (+0.5°C Above the 1971-2000 average).
