Could well turn out to be a Thundery Thursday across some parts of the Uk. The ingredients are there for some great convective activity.

Rumbles of thunder in Liverpool (for about half an hour) from 2am.

1 storm with a few rumbles of thunder has just passed,

near me and is heading towards bath.

looks good as the uk storm season is still to come.

It's come further South than Bath Kneely .

Torrential rain in the last half hour and 4 rumbles of thunder between 10.53 - 11.00, right on the edge of it in Westbury and shocking severe black skies just to the South. Wind has fallen calm .

well the wind must of taken it further south but i got a few flashes of lightning on my camcorder so that was somethng.

i am logging off for now will be back on at 3 to see what more has developed.,

From one shower to another, this anvil is looking good, and its coming this way!!

In the last few minutes the tower is just exploding

This Storm Cloud is really taking shape now, I'm trying to get a good photo, not great when I only have a mobile with a 1.5 mpixel camera on it!!

Heavy, thundery showers now moving east. It was fine and sunny this morning, but there have been some showers within the last half hour and I saw a rumble of thunder to my southwest. More to come.

The 1st storm gave 6 rumbles in total.

Thunderstorm number 2 just clearing, 4 rumbles of thunder to my South between 12.11 and 12.32. Heavy rain fell here.

saw a rumble of thunder? Yes, thunder now heard in poole as well with some heavy rain. Clouds dont look that threatning but sound it!

Time 13.30 in Swindon Wiltshire.

Torrential rain bouncing off the ground and several flashes of lightning! Only lasted 15 mins max.Came from the west across to the east.

After a sunny and warm morning, the sky suddenly became dark ten minutes ago bringing a heavy hail storm and a couple of booms of thunder, the wind picked up too - lasted a few mintues and now raining.

Nice sunny morning here but has got up gusty and when I looked to the North there are ominous black clouds and have heard a rumble of thunder. Hubbie has been at work in Tunbridge Wells all morning and says it has been raining hard for the past 2 hours or so.

Hubbie rang and a very good storm right over Cross in Hand, E Sx. Saw lightning strike to the North of me about 10 mmins ago.
