A glorious day of sunny skies in Weston- Super- Mare, and absolutely scorching on the beach, despite a breezy (offshore) south-easterly. :p

Back in Brum, now dry and clear with a gentle SE breeze. Warm and close at 18 .5 c. Pressure: 1026 mb, falling. :)

Report for Saturday 3rd September 2005, Readings taken at 23:55.

A mostly dull and overcast day, quite different from what was forecast. The sun did come out briefly during the early afternoon for an hour or so, but cloud quickly built again and it also became misty. The brief sunny period allowed the maximum temperature to reach 21.5°C, identical to yesterday, however the majority of the day was below the 20°C mark. Due to the stubborn low cloud it was also a humid day, reaching a low of only 70% and meaning it felt quite sticky at times. Fortunately the wind was quite a chilly south-easterly, which took the edge off a bit.

Current Temp: 15.8°C

Max Temp: 21.5°C (at 14:04)

Min Temp: 11.3°C (at 02:58)

Humidity: 90%

Min Humidity: 70% (at 14:12)

Pressure: 1026.0hPa (Falling)

Dewpoint: 14.2°C

Wind: SSE (9mph)

Rain Today: 0.0mm

My September average currently stands at 17.1°C (+3.0°C Above the 1971-2000 average).
