I know SS, its not very encouraging at the mo, still it could change. One of the reasons I do it really is to see the changes throughout the autumn!

Evening Nick, I only have up to 29-11-62 as the others (december 62') were mislaid when I moved years ago,as you will recall I do have Jan and Feb 63',from what you intimate lets go for the end of November and if you want the other 2 months PM me.

This has been holding good all month...there was a blip but it was just that. I can't see anything other than further temp falls...it all bodes well as the HP even after getting slammed readily pounces back within no tome at all. Are you keep this going through Nov too as I believe that will be a very interesting and crucial month up there.

Can you compare exact dates with each other? the 26th Oct in '62 would of actually of been a different time of the season wouldnt it because leap years slowly push things out dont they? According to my calculations we're 10 days behind the 26th in '62?

As far as I remember doesn't the earth take 365.25 days to go around the sun. The extra day then brings us back into line. Thus the seasons move by 0.25 of a day per year. The leap year day then corrects this. :)
