The heavy drizzle and light rain that has fallen since 10pm Thursday has finally stopped......for now.

Cloudy at 13.8C and with a light easterly breeze at 4-6mph at the mo.

Very damp..... :D

I can't believe how much cooler it is here than further south...feel's like autumn! :angry:

Well it has stopped raining at last,it's still cloudy but much brighter with a hint that the sun may just make an appearance later, correction it just peeped out from behind the cloudsheet,current temperature 14.4c,humidity 98%, wind very light from the NE,barometer 1017 mb and rising slowly.

Report for Saturday 10th September 2005, Readings taken at 23:55.

An Overcast, wet and cool day. The morning began relatively dry with only occasional light rain. The rain became heavier as the day went on, especially so in the afternoon. The late-afternoon and early-evening period was dry, however rain arrived again later in the evening but was lighter in nature. The temperature was unusual in that the maxima happened just after midnight, the temperature after this saw a gradual fall to 15°C where it remained for almost the entire day.

Open day at the Wessex sewerage plant in Avonmouth today. Came back on a bus through Andy's rain storm. Yeah, A4 (major road into Bristol from the West) struggling at about 4:30 to 5;00. See Martyn Hicks for North Bristol data. Considerable rain. Didn't see/hear lightning, - was on a speeding bus. Well worth a visit next year if you ever wondered where it all goes.
