Currently -3.3c here and a beautiful sunny morning,wind-calm,humidity 91%,barometer 1025 and rising slowly-off the the North of Scotland now.

I suspect it was slightly milder where u live Rollo.

Down here in rural parts, temperatures dropped to -6 last night.

Have a frost here. But local weather centre is saying our min was 2C, surely that's wrong? Considering it rained quite a bit last night as well.

Probably dropped below that, but warmer than other parts because of the warmer air advected inland from the showery north-sea trough.

Hi all

less frost and ice on cars and fields today than yesterday. nearly skidded the car round a bend up the Eyreton Lea road to the Strang yesterday morning and had to use the windscreen de-icer to clear the car, but not today. person at work reported that her lock was frozen. another lady was on call wednesdaynight into thursday and was called out at 5am when she had to defrost the car and then again on the way home an hour later even to defrosting the condensation on the inside of her windscreen (new Hyundi Getz)!!
