Frost Reports 25th Sept Onwards

Last 3 nights mins have been -4c, -6c, -5c.

This morning's difference is freezing fog which has given a truly stunning rime frost on ALL surfaces, including beautiful cobwebs . Hopefully a few pics for the November comp to be submitted later in the day.

Had a heavy frost and dense fog last night in Greenwich as reported. Nearly lunchtime and the ground in the shadows is still covered with frost - haven't seen that before.

5th consecutive hard/severe frost setting in this evening.

With the freezing fog as well there is frost nearing a cm thick on some trees/bushes, looks stunning and if it continues may become thicker !

You guessed it, another frost tonight, what's more is my ice scraper suffered severe structural failure (it snapped), last time I pay a whole 36p for an ice scraper.
