It has been very mild and mostly cloudy but when the sun did appear it was B----- hot,in the last 10 minutes the cold front has arrived and the rain has started--should see a big drop in temperature soon, temperature 19.4c,humidity 74%,wind fresh westerly , barometer 1006 mb and falling. The rain has just cleared but it still feels mild--the temperature drop is 3.8c at 17-32 pm.

A nice and warm day but what a miserable end to what has been a warm month. What the hell happened. Nothing has changed today. It has been cloudy all day with frequent showers. I hear of torrential showers elsewhere but here I got soaked in a matter of minutes by what I judge as torrential drizzle. However, temperatures got up to 20C for two inutes when the sun came out. Currently cloudy with a moderate shower passing through.

Just had a very heavy downpour with strong winds and the temperature has dropped from 17C to 13C. Still muggy though. Maybe not such an uneventful end to the month.

Report for Friday 30th September 2005, Readings taken at 23:55.

After a cloudy and wet night the morning began mostly cloudy with occasional sunny spells. These were short-lived however, as it soon became overcast with some light drizzle mid-morning. the early afternoon then saw the rain and cloud clear away to give pleasant sunny spells, during which the temperature managed to reach 21.5°C - the latest date to reach such a temperature since I began recording. The evening has seen the return of thicker cloud, bringing heavy rain which has only started to become lighter in the last 30 minutes or so. Overall, a well above average day for the time of year, meaning my September average is 15.8°C - the warmest Ive ever recorded by some way.

Current Temp: 12.4°C

Max Temp: 21.5°C (at 14:42)

Min Temp: 10.1°C (at 03:14)

Humidity: 84%

Min Humidity: 77% (at 00:00)

Pressure: 1008.4hPa (Steady)

Dewpoint: 9.7°C

Wind: WSW (3mph)

Rain Today: 6.7mm

My September average is 15.8°C (+1.7°C Above the 1971-2000 average).
