Report for Wednesday 12th October 2005, Readings taken at 23:55.

Another record mild day, with both the minima and maxima values beating previous records set yesterday by over a degree each. It was an overcast but dry start, with cloudbreaking a little during the middle part of the day to allow some hazy sunshine. This was shortlived however, as the late-afternoon saw it become totally overcast again and the evening saw the arrival of rain. The last few hours have remained overcast but dry and like the last few nights, incredibly mild. As a result of the third sucessive day above 20°C, my average for the month is now even further above the 1971-2000 value.

Current Temp: 16.6°C

Max Temp: 22.3°C (at 13:38)

Min Temp: 14.9°C (at 07:39)

Humidity: 90%

Min Humidity: 72% (at 14:23)

Pressure: 1009.2hPa (Steady)

Dewpoint: 16.0°C

Wind: SSE (5mph)

Rain Today: 2.0mm

My October average currently stands at 14.0°C (+3.3°C Above the 1971-2000 average).
