very loud rumblies and very the many treeple flash lightenings with massev rains and hails at 3.30pms todays!!! awfilly darks and stormys!

Been lightning over in Broadstairs most of the evening starting around 5:40 with some hefty thunder too. The storms edge seemed to just clip us in thanet passing up the channel and into the north sea. The lightning, I must add was pretty impressive - haven't seen forked lightning like that in a long time! It's still lightning now well over on the North Horizon.

well since 4.40 this afternoon with have had heavy rain with lots of thunder and lightniing. its still rolling the bay now.

i have photos of a double rainnbow with a spilt sky. and manged to getting some lighting footage.

over all today has been very good,

with more to come by the looks of the radar.

I'm hearing some distant thunder right now; can't see any lightning or determine where it's coming from though. There is some torrential rain going on and has been for a good 15 minutes now.

01:00 hours very heavy rain and frequent lightning for 10 - 15 mins one very bright flash and cannon like thunder at 01:10 suspect +ve CG.

Was woken at 23.45 last night to a loud crash of thunder and then a lightning strike and thunder 5 minutes later, boy did it rain, but all gone within 15 minutes!!

As most people have said for yesterday a Very impressive day in the South East, witnessed 4 different storms, 1st in Central London at 430pm which just skimmed Central London, 2nd 6pm right overhead in Central London, then core punched Kold weather's storm near Upminster at 730pm and last storm in Southend area at 9pm last night with some impressive rain and Cg Lightning, all in all the best day of the year so far!!! October gave us our best storm last year also on 29th October.
