    What a day,

    Yesterday was something different, there was a noticable chill in the air yesterday but nothing like today. Early morning when i went to work it was cold, not terribly but it was cold none-the-less. During the afternoon it seemed to get colder and on the way home we had our first sleet shower at 450m. It was rain at the coast but not inland. Currently it is frosty and the car has small ice drops on it from the sleet earlier.

    Thought i'd have a whisky, i kind of toast to the forthcoming winter, full of hope that it will be one that surprises us all....

    Anyone else with similar reports????
