Had a heavy and very blustery shower at 7.30 this morning but apart from that - nothing. Most of the showers have cleared.

Just heard a rumble of thunder to my south...and had the briefest of sharp blustery downpours (literally only 20 seconds).

(This does not count as a storm report because i did not see any lightning...)

Still raining lightly now...

Woke to a loud rumble of thunder at 6:30 this morning

V. heavy rain for the last half hour here. Now we have thunder and lightning!

sheet lightning to the south east of rochdale..as indicated by the white blob on the 17.30 met office radar.nothing showing on lightning detectors

Yep, can definately confirm there's some real fireworks going off just to the East of where I am currently. Heavy rain aswell, but no thunderstorms directly overhead.... yet!

Currently very heavy rain/Hail thunder and Lightning in Cleethorpes at the mo, started around 19:00
