Quite a chance of a few beefy and maybe thundery showers in a few target areas tomorrow, West of Scotland and Northern Ireland and also Southern and South West England later in the day. God is this really November, usually boring cloudy weather by now!!!

Please post all Storm Reports here...'

Thought I saw a flicker of lightning just now ... then a few seconds later - Bang (or more correctly - rumble)! At first I dismissed it as a flickering office light.

Those high-ish CAPE Values are starting to convert themselves to thunderstorms, here in Bristol!

At about 6pm just before I went out there was a flash and the sky appeared to turn purple,I have never observed anything like that before, soon after there was a vivid flash to earth and a very loud thunderclap,no rain was observed and then it seemed to disappear off to the north.
