A pleasant and sunny start quickly gave way to thicker cloud during the morning. The afternoon saw it become overcast and the arrival of rain. The remainder of the day was mostly cloudy, with occasional clear spells. The wind was once again strong, though it did become calmer as the day went on. It was mild for the time of the year, though the last few hours have allowed the temperature to fall due to a drop in the wind.

Clear here, and chilly but not I think cold.

Apparently Shawbury is reporting 2C at 0000, but I was out half an hour ago and would have estimated about 6. Just looked on Wunderground and MO sites, I wonder if the Wunderground temp is due to the "AUTO" thing but MO are showing it as well.
