A bit late in the day now and I see lots of other north-east England reports here but there was a dusting of snow in Newcastle and Stanley this morning. Now at home in hexham (no snow - too far inland) but currently -0.3 celsius.

Winter begins!

Slight dusting here (Aberdeenshire about 40 miles north of Aberdeen) yesterday morning & this morning. However this mornings snow seemed to hit a strip, just over the field from me there was a covering on the main A98, but the little track I live on had none on it!
