Living on top of a hill is not always good news for cold weather fans.

Minimum here last night was 0.6c, currently 2.8c. Even at 1700 feet the min' was only 0c and is currently 4c.

Contrast with the valleys where the min' was -3c to -4c.

We did have -4c on the grass so everthing is thick with hoar frost, giving the impression of severe cold.
