Report for Sunday 20th November 2005, Readings taken at 23:55.

A cold and frosty start led to a mostly clear day with a lingering mist. There were larger amounts of high cloud compared to the last few days, but never enough to obscure the sun. The evening saw a rapid fall in temperature and the mist thicken slightly. Overall it was another cold day for the time of year, with last nights frost being the 4th in a row. Like yesterday there was a light breeze, which meant it felt bitter out of the sunshine.

Current Temp: 1.4°C

Max Temp: 6.7°C (at 13:55)

Min Temp: -0.2°C (at 05:02)

Humidity: 89%

Min Humidity: 85% (at 14:08)

Pressure: 1031.2hPa (Steady)

Dewpoint: -0.2°C

Wind: W (Calm)

Rain Today: 0.0mm

My November average currently stands at 8.2°C (+1.2°C Above the 1971-2000 average).

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
