Woke to find 5-6 inches of snow lying! Amazing sight!

Just woke up to about 10-20mm, and it's coming down quickly.

Oh, i'm in Taunton by the way, not Yeovil.

i think its just starting to snow, lightly. quite large black clouds cover over right now, and you can see it coming down more in the sky, as it comes off the clouds, like for a downpour of rain (if you know what i mean)

Just a few pictures guys:

They are taken from my house, overlooking Slieve Foye of the Cooley Mountain Range, County Louth, Ireland. We had about 1.5-2" snowcover here, though it's melting very fast.

Snow showers all night, a few inches lying here, most local schools closed due to this.

Had a small snow shower about 2 hours ago, it settled for about 10mins, but has know all gone.

Oh what a bloody great end to the Autumn here in South Wales. Never (in 17 years) have I seen this much snow in November. 8-10cm on most surfaces; the main road had a covering until the traffic got going again around 7. I imagine there is a lot more up at Treherbert :(
