middle of the day I just briefly let myself get my hopes up........the moment you do, It tracks

off to the west....nevermind, maybe something unusual will happen and It will turn toward London?

Snow settled a little during the afternoon, but frequent snowfalls after that in the Warwick area have increased the snowcover of the ground. Not snowing at the moment, but it stops and starts every now and then. Main snowfalls at 2 and 5pm.

I work in Banchory and it hasn't stopped snowing allday, some very very heavy showers. Slightly up the dee valley towards Aboybe they have had to stop all the buses because of the snow. Haven't seen such heavy snow in November for a long time. A serious covering today, 8" fell during the night last night and aleast another few during the day.....very interesting weather, and now looks like it is going to be on again ;)

Abodye - *Aboyne (ooops!!)

If nobody else in my area has done, can I register 4hrs of snowfall today, acculmilating to 3-4inches in my 187m asl location. Probably double that for parts of Saddleworth. Noticed that Snake Pass is closed, can't say i'm suprised with that lol.

A day I didn't expect, was stuck at work, but still loved the falling snow. ;)

Had some snow showers today giving a light covering, especially this morning when the snow fell onto a frosty ground.

Had a couple of snow showers in the afternoon which were quite heavy, although it didn't settle due to higher temps.

Lucky you - I'm in North-West Bristol, where there was snow, numerous quite decent flakes, but it hardly settled at all.

Just been out to measure the snow - 14.5cm deep now in the middle of the lawn away from anything. It was just 6cm at 5.30pm this evening, has really piled up and still snowing hard.

Saw the bbc 6pm news weather - 1, 2 or upto 4cm was suggested on the hills..

I think wilts and hants might see more than they currently are thinking, as it is plenty cold enough(-1. ;) up here.

Just back in from walking the dog in the snow here (west of Swindon) huge flakes earlier but now easing off ;)

About 1-2cms lying on the grass and also settled on the lane as well.

Second bout of lying snow this November after Thursdays showers in a usually snowless North Wiltshire, and both from a Northerly direction ...amazing.

Roll on the Winter months!

What's the situation with the snow at the moment? Tried snowing here earlier on but didn't quite make it. Just fell as sleet.
