Tonight - Damp weather in many western areas this evening, but clear in the east, cloud will tend to push across most parts this leaving a rather cloudy night, and some damp patches are still likely in western areas, Temps 8-11c in Scotland, 10-13c over England and Wales.

Tomorrow - A Grey damp start over many parts, including Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland and western parts of England with some rain and mist and fog patches, however it will be drier in Eastern England.

For the afternoon it will remain damp in western Scotland but in the lee of the mountains there should be sunny spells for eastern parts.

NW England will be damp and cloudy, but drier in NE England. Much of Southern England and Wales will tend to be damp and misty with some rain in places especially over Wales and SW England, after a dull start it will turn brighter in Northern Ireland later, temps 15-16 in Scotland, 16-18c over England and Wales.

Sunday - A much better day with long sunny spells for much if the UK, but possibly a little more cloud in the far SW of England, temps 12-15c over Scotland, 15-17c over England and Wales.

Tonight - Gales for Scotland and NE England which should ease during the night, some heavy rain for a time in W Scotland although this too edging to the east later. The rest of the UK mainly dry with a mix of clear spells and cloud.

Tomorrow - Some rain to start in E and C Scotland tomorrow, this will fall as snow on the highest hills, drier in W Scotland and for N England with a lot of cloud here. Some dampness for NW England and N Wales, however much of Southern England and Wales will be cloudy but there maybe the odd break in the cloud.

During the afternoon a band of rain will push south across England and Wales giving some sunny spells for N England and N Ireland later but with more cloud and showers or rain further south, showers continuing in E Scotland, again with snow over the highest ground. Temps 6-10c in Scotland, 13-14c over England and Wales, but feeling cooler in brisk NW winds over much of the UK.

Wednesday and Thursday - Much cooler than recently with widespread sunny spells except in eastern coastal areas with more cloud here and a little drizzle, temps 9-11c, with widespread overnight frosts, especially in rural areas.

Summary - Sharp Frost Tonight, High Pressure dominating over the next couple of days

Tonight - The odd shower in East Anglia and some cloud is also possible in NW Scotland, elsewhere a mainly clear and frosty night, urban temps 0-6 in Scotland, -2 to +4c in England and Wales.

Gales for Scotland and NE England which should ease during the night, some heavy rain for a time in W Scotland although this too edging to the east later. The rest of the UK mainly dry with a mix of clear spells and cloud.

Tomorrow - Cloud for NW Scotland, and cloud to start in east Anglia , but this clearing later, elsewhere a mainly sunny day, but with a little high cloud in places for the afternoon. Temps 10-12c in Scotland, 9-11c over England and Wales.

Saturday- Some Cloud for Scotland and N Ireland, and possibly some drizzle in W Scotland, much of the rest of the UK sunny again. Temps 11-14c in Scotland, 9-10c over England and Wales.

Sunday - Mainly sunny again but with some cloud over Scotland and maybe some rain in the north, temps 14-15c over Scotland, 11-12 over England and Wales.

Monday - Dry and bright generally, temps 13-14c

Tonight - Cloud and rain in southern areas will push away to the south leaving most places clear but with a few showers in NE Scotland, frost will also develop in a few spots, temps 4-5c in Scotland, 3 to 7c in England and Wales.

Tomorrow - Most places will have a mainly sunny day under high pressure, maybe a little more cloud in areas exposed to the NW and in NE Scotland with a few showers here in the morning. Temps 7-9c in Scotland, 9-12c over England and Wales.

Friday - Some sun in the South and East, but with rain edging into W Scotland and n Ireland later, temps 9-12c over Scotland, 10-12c over England and Wales.

Saturday - Cloud and rain pushing through southern areas, drier later, with clearer weather following on behind with some wintry showers over Scotland, temps 4-7c over Scotland, 11-13c over England and Wales.

Friday - rain spreading SE during the day, wet to start into N Ireland and W Scotland and NW England, drier in Scotland and n Ireland later, with the rain spreading into Wales and central England, remaining dry and bright in SE England, temps 9-12c over Scotland, 11-13c over England and Wales.

Saturday - Cloud and rain pushing through southern areas, drier later, with clearer weather following on behind with some showers over Northern England and wintry showers over Scotland, temps 6-10c over Scotland, 11-13c over England and Wales.

Sunday - Mainly Dry, with the best sun in the east, temps 5-10c over Scotland, 10-14c over England and Wales.

Tonight - Showers in North Western parts tonight, with drier weather in the east, there may also be some rain for Wales and SW England later. Temps 3-6c in Scotland, 6 to 11c in England and Wales, some clear spells in eastern spots are possible.

Tomorrow - Showers continuing in NW Scotland, these wintry, mainly on hills, much drier in E Scotland and NE England, with some decent sunny spells in the afternoon here. N Ireland should see some showers through the day, but with brighter spells in the afternoon.

Southern parts of England and Wales will be cloudy to start with some persistent rain for much of Wales and S England. The afternoon will see this spreading northwards into C England, with Wales remaining damp but southern coastal parts of England may turn a little drier. Temps 8-9c in Scotland, 9-14c in England and Wales.

Wednesday – Rain pushing north, dry later in southern England and Wales and over N Scotland. Temps 8-9c in Scotland, 10-17c in England and Wales.

Thursday – Rain pushing into Eastern areas with showers following on behind, Temps 9-13c generally.

Summary - Tonight Mild and Cloudy

Tonight - A few showers for W Scotland but with clear spells for much of Scotland generally, much of England and Wales should be cloudy with some rain for Wales and the Midlands this slowly edging northwards during the night, Temps 2-4c in Scotland with a touch of ground frost in places, 4-13c in England and Wales.

Tomorrow - Showers to start over W Scotland but with some sunnier spells in E Scotland, dry and cloudy to start over N England, Drier generally in many SE parts of England but remaining rather cloudy. It will start dry in SW England and rain will tend to clear south Wales late in the morning.

The first rain band will push north into N England, S Scotland and N Ireland and it will turn drier for a time in North Wales, with another band of rain pushing up to affect SW England and Wales later in the afternoon, remaining dry in many eastern parts of England but still mainly cloudy. Temps 7-9c in Scotland, 10-15c in England and Wales.

Thursday – Rain pushing east during the day, and turning drier later in western areas perhaps with a few showers, Temps 9-14c generally.

Friday - Very unsettled with some rain or showers over most spots, temps 5-6c over Scotland, 7-12c over England and Wales.

Summary – Heavy Rain with local flooding this evening for N Ireland and SW Scotland.

Tonight – Very heavy rain for N Ireland and S Scotland, rain for NW England for a times but turning drier here later, while N Scotland will turn wet after a dry start, on the higher ground, there may be some snowfall in Scotland.

NE England and SW England and Wales will be dry with a few clear spells developing, with SE England turning wet after a dry start.

Strong winds too for western parts. Temps 5-6c in Scotland, 9-13c over England and Wales.

Tomorrow - Wet to start in SE England, drier over the rest of England and Wales with some brighter spells over western parts and in NE England. Showers over W Scotland and N Ireland, but drier and brighter in E Scotland.

The rain only slowly edging away from SE England in the afternoon, showers developing over many western parts of England, Wales, and continuing for N Ireland, and spreading to much of Scotland, drier in E England, Temps 8-9c in Scotland, 10-11c over England and Wales.

Summary – More Rain tonight

Tonight – Showery rain for Wales, SW England, coastal parts of southern England and NW England, with a band of rain over N Ireland and W Scotland, this will turn progressively to snow especially over higher ground later in the night.

Drier over eastern parts of England and Scotland, clear with frost in e Scotland, but cloudier in E England, but turning clearer here later.

Strong winds too for western parts. Temps 2-5c in Scotland, 4-9c over England and Wales.

Tomorrow – Some Sleet and snow in N Ireland to start with maybe rain on lower ground will tend to die away as the morning progresses. W Scotland and the Highlands will see some sleet and snow, with some heavy snow possible over higher ground, some rain is likely for eastern parts of Scotland. Rain too for NW England except over the very highest ground of Cumbria where a little snow is possible, rain for SE England into East Anglia, with some damp showery weather for S Wales and SW England

The afternoon will see some dry weather for N Ireland, further snow for higher ground in Scotland. Rain elsewhere, a band of rain will be crossing southern England with drier weather over Wales and to the east over se England and east Anglia, temps 7-8c in Scotland, colder in the snow, and 8-11 over England and wells.

Saturday – Some Snow Showers in Scotland, with showers for other western arts of the UK, mainly dry with some brighter spells in the east. Temps 5-7c in Scotland, 7-9c over England and Wales.

Some showers in NW Scotland, with some rain possible in SE England, in between should be mainly dry with some sunny spells, Temps 6-7c in Scotland, 9-13c over England and Wales.

Tonight – Some showers for N and NE Scotland, NW England, but mainly dry elsewhere with clear spells towards to the south and east of England, Temps 2-4c in Scotland, 2-5c over England and Wales.

Tomorrow – Further showers in NE Scotland but mainly dry and cloudy in the rest of Scotland. Much of north and eastern England will be dry and cloudy although there will be a few clear spells toward SE England. However rain will push into Wales, SW England and N Ireland fairly early on in the morning.

The rain will continue to spread north and west through the day with rain extending into S Scotland and E England, drier in N Scotland. It will tend to be rather damp behind the main band with some drizzle towards the southwest, although the odd brighter spell is possible later inland. Temps 5-6c in Scotland, 7-12c over England and Wales.

Thursday - another band of rain pushing up form the southwest bringing rain to all parts during the day, but with a few brighter spells in southern areas later, but there will be strong winds and gales, temps 6-9c in Scotland, 10-12c over England and Wales.

Friday - Further heavy rain in places, again windy with a risk of flooding in places, temps 7-10c in Scotland, 10-13c in England and Wales.

Tonight –Some heavy rain spreading in from the south tonight, some heavy with strong winds accompanying , however it should stay dry in the North and East. Temps 4-6c in Scotland, 7-10c over England and Wales.

Tomorrow – The rain band will have pushed into Northern Scotland, curling back into N Ireland, with another band in eastern England, south and western areas will have turned dry with some brightness although some showers will soon develop.

The afternoon will see rain continuing for Scotland, it will be drier in Northern England and N Ireland, with some bright or sunny spells in SE England, and a mix of sunshine and heavy showers in SW areas. Temps 8-9c in Scotland, 11-13c over England and Wales.

Friday - Further heavy rain in places, again windy with a risk of flooding in places, temps 8-10c in Scotland, 10-12c in England and Wales.

Saturday - Further heavy rain in places, with some very strong winds likely in the south west, with a risk of flooding in places, temps 8-11c in Scotland, 9-14c in England and Wales.

SEVERE WEATHER WARNING – Severe Gales for SE England

Tonight –A very wet and stormy night with rain over much of the UK tonight, later in the night, it will turn drier for Wales , the far SE of England, N Ireland and Scotland, Strong winds in many areas but with Gales over Southern and Severe Gales for areas SE of a line from Dorset to Lincolnshire. Temps 5-6c in Scotland, 8-13c over England and Wales.

Tomorrow – A band of rain tomorrow running from NE England, into the Midlands, SW Wales and into the West country, and curling back in NW Scotland, the rest of the UK will tend to be dry in the morning, although most places will tend to be cloudy.

The afternoon will again see showers tend to develop over many western areas, due to the continuing strong wind, they will tend to very fast moving but they again could be heavy. The main rain band over central areas is likely to die out during the day as it continues to move east. While eastern areas will tend to have the best of any sunny spells, temps 8-11c in Scotland, 11-14c in England and Wales. Winds will be very strong to start the day with Gales but will moderate considerably during the day.

Tomorrow night - Another band of rain will push into the southwest.

Tonight – Heavy bands of showery rain to start for Southern Wales and SW England will steadily cover much of England and Wales overnight, but remaining mainly dry for Scotland and N Ireland, with perhaps a few clear spells in N Scotland, Temps 7-8c in Scotland, 8-11c over England and Wales.

Tomorrow – The main rain band should be over SE England tomorrow morning, with showers for Wales, SW England, NW England and E Scotland, with drier weather for N Ireland and N Scotland.

The main rain band will clear with showers pushing in for many southern areas, although there will also be decent sunny intervals, direr in E Scotland with further rain for NW Scotland and N Ireland later in the afternoon, temps 10-11c in Scotland, 11-13c in England and Wales.

Wednesday - Rain pushing into the west, drier in the east, temps 10-12c in Scotland, 11-13c over England and Wales.

Thursday - Rain pushing into the North West, Drier in the SE, temps 11-12c in Scotland, 11-14c over England and Wales.

Summary – A Chillier night

Tonight – A few showers in western areas these tending to fade except in NW Scotland, while many Eastern areas may be clear, Temps 4-7c in Scotland, 4-6c over England and Wales.

Tomorrow – Cloud will advance from the west with showers for S Wales, SW England, NW England, N Ireland and especially NW Scotland where these may be heavy. However areas to the east of high ground are likely to be sheltered and less showers are likely here and some decent sunshine is possible, moreso in Eastern parts of England.

Showers will tend to die off in the west although again continuing in NW Scotland, with best of the brightness remaining in eastern areas. Temps 9-11c in Scotland, 12-14c in England and Wales.

Thursday - Rain pushing into the North and West with severe gales in NW parts, Drier in the SE with some sunny spells, temps 10-12c in Scotland, 12-14c over England and Wales.

Friday - Rain pushing into eastern areas, with showers following on behind to the west, temps 7-10c in Scotland, 11-14c over England and Wales.

Tonight – Rain spreading East across the UK with rain for Scotland, N Ireland and moving into Wales, the Midlands and other central parts of England, remaining dry of the SE of England, Temps 6-8c in Scotland, 9-12c over England and Wales.

Tomorrow – Some light rain for NW Scotland and NW England, drier for the rest of Scotland, NE England, N Ireland, Wales and SW England with a few brighter spells here, the main cold front should now be over SE England and the E midlands where it will continue to move east.

The afternoon will see sunny intervals for much of the UK, with the rain in se England tending to die out, perhaps the next rain edging into N Ireland and W Scotland later in the afternoon, Temps 9-11c in Scotland, 11-13c in England and Wales.

Saturday - Some rain for a time in the SE, drier elsewhere with some sunny spells, but with a few showers in western areas, Temps 8-10c in Scotland, 10-12c in England and Wales. rain spreading across the UK Saturday night.

Sunday - the overnight rain should have pushed over to the east, with drier weather in the west with sunny intervals and showers, Temps 9-10c in Scotland, 11-12c in England and Wales.

Summary – Breezy and Mild tonight

Tonight – Some showery rain in some western parts for a time tonight, but this tending to die out but possibly lingering in NW Scotland, some rain is also likely for SE England, drier in between with some clear spells, Temps 5-6c in Scotland, 9-10c over England and Wales.

Tomorrow – Showers for NW Scotland and NW England, with sheltered areas of E Scotland and NE England have some sunny spells. Some lingering rain is possible in the Far SE of England, with some sunny spells for the rest of England and Wales, but perhaps with a few showers edging into SW Wales and SW England later, sunny spells too for N Ireland.

The afternoon will see showers continuing for a time in western areas before dying out later, quite a few sunny intervals are likely for many areas but with a little bit of lingering rain in Kent slowly fading away. Temps 8-9c in Scotland, 9-12c in England and Wales.

Saturday Night –A deep area of low pressure will push through the UK shown nicely with an animated synoptic chart for a change, will bring heavy rain across the UK with some severe gales possible, of 60-70 mph over some western coasts.

Sunday – Turning showery in the west with heavy rain for the east, Temps 6-8c in Scotland, 8-10c in England and Wales.

The afternoon will see mainly dry conditions for many eastern parts, with a little brightness, more showers in the west and perhaps some prolonged rain in SW England and Wales for the afternoon, temps 8-9c in Scotland, 10-13c over England and Wales.

Wednesday - Less Showers, but maybe a few in eastern areas. Temps 7-9c in Scotland, 8-10 over England and Wales.

Thursday - Overnight rain will spread in form the west to give a wet afternoon for eastern parts turning showery later in western parts, Temps 7-10c in Scotland, 9-12c over England and Wales.

WEATHER WARNING – Heavy Rain for Wales and Cumbria

Tonight - Rain pushing in from the West and reaching all parts before the end of the night. In the early morning, western areas will tend to see the rain turn showerier, it will be cold enough over the Scottish Mountains for some snow here, Temps 1-3c in Scotland, 4-9c over England and Wales.

Tomorrow - Rain to start in the South East of England, with heavy blustery showers over the rest of the UK for the morning, some of the showers again wintry over Scottish hills.

In the early afternoon, the showers may merge into longer periods of rain over SW England, showers will continue elsewhere more so in western areas, while sunny spells are possible in between the showers. These are likely to be concentrated in eastern areas including SE England where the earlier rain should move away quickly. Southern areas may also see severe gales with 60-70mph winds possible. Temps 8-9c in Scotland, 10-13c over England and Wales.

Friday - A much more settled day with most places being mainly dry with the odd shower, these wintry in NW Scotland, temps 6-7c in Scotland, 8-10c over England and Wales.

Saturday - the best day in a very long time, most places will be sunny with the only showers likely for NW Scotland, where again they could be wintry, temps 4-7c in Scotland, 7-9c over England and Wales.

Not much changing in the afternoon, but the rain may advance a little further north into Central Scotland, and it become a little drier over southern parts of Wales, Temps 8-11c in Scotland, 12-13c in England and Wales.

Tomorrow- Cloudy to start in E Scotland, with fog over much of England with the exception of the SW, some fog over much of Wales, but sunnier in the far west.

The fog will tend to break up in the afternoon away from the South and East of England where it may linger, some sunny spells developing over Scotland, N Ireland, and parts of SW England and west Wales, temps 3-7c, struggling to reach freezing in dense fog.

Outlook – Staying cold and foggy in many areas, with some nighttime frosts.
