Interesting, just had a really heavy hail shower here in central London, near London Bridge

tube station. Only lasted about a minute or so, but it was hail and it was very heavy.

The rain has just about cleared, but the Sun is now out, causing a stunning rainbow to the North-West.

Wish I had a camera!

We just had an awesome one over Central London - accompanied by horizontal (not to say reverse vertical) rain and very noisy winds...

I have a camera but no way to get the pics onto the PC.

Missed that one, then! But isn't it changeable......pitch black one minute and then dazzling light the next minute. My daughter and I (!) both commented on what a lovely sort of light it was.....it seemed to make all the colours in the garden come to life.
