Look at the weather where Tugmistress lives,

http://www.tugmistress.co.uk/index.php?opt...rapper&Itemid=8

Now that is cold with a significant wind chill.

Her rain gauge is showing nil but as there has been significant shower activity then the gauge must be full with snow.

Lucky her.

John

I am staggered, I have just been to reset my thermometer and today's max has been 14c :) . This is the highest temperature since Friday 11th November (also 14c) and 5c higher than any daytime max since Tuesday 15th November!!

It was dull with slight drizzle to start then some long sunny spells. Cloudier again now. A gusty NW wind throughout and temp is now 8c showing the cooler air arriving.

Temps maxed out at 12.5c here, which is the highest since early November aswell. but 14c, that is surprising!

A dull start as light rain and drizzle passed through but brightenednup during the day allowing temperatures to rise up to 11C. The wind however made it feel like 5C. Now clear and cold at 3C. I feel a frost coming on. I have also noticed that the high for Sunday night is higher than the high for midday Sunday. Is that usual? :)

Just been out, and the temp in Derby is sitting nicely at 7oC.

A shame, because we had a few spots of rain earlier (of which I spent about 5 minutes staring out the window to see if anything white fell down :) )
