A bright and sunny start to the day followed on from a mild and partly cloudy night. This was very short lived however, with the afternoon seeing thicker cloud moving in. It then stayed mostly cloudy or overcast for the remainder of the day, with only a few breaks in the evening. Temperature-wise it was slightly above average for the time of the year, though this was due to a higher minima.

I'm not often up at this time of night .

Conditions now are milder feeling than at any stage during the last 96 hours or so. Temp is 7c which was the max I recorded during daytime on Tuesday. It is calm and the sky is cloudy, there were a few spots of drizzle when I was outside earlier.
