Does anybody remember the winters of 79 and 81/82

I rmember the winter of 79 being of masses of snow and the winter 81/82 being extreme cold, well for the eastern part of the midlands anyway

'79 only just remember it but '81/'82 oh yes!! Proper winters with much snow/fun May they one day return so everyone can experience what it's like.
