Belfast Snow?

    The Met Office hourly reports indicate snow to have fallen in Belfast at 0900 on Christmas morning. The temperature at the time was -1C but not enough fell to whiten the ground. So, its an official white Christmas here even though it was barely noticeable.

    Just checked Wunderground- Belfast airport was reporting fog

    METAR EGAA 250820Z 18004KT 0150 R25/0350 R07/0300 FG VV/// M02/M02 Q1029

    METAR EGAA 250850Z 18002KT 0150 R25/0250 R07/0350 FG VV/// M02/M02 Q1029

    METAR EGAA 250920Z 18003KT 0150 R07/0400 FG VV/// M01/M01 Q1029

    as was the Metoffice site all morning except the 0900 obs.

    Seems peculiar- anyone there actually see any snow fall?
