Looks like the whole of the NE is taking a battering at the moment with good accumulations as far north as ponteland (Rollo), East as Cleadon (TWS) and west as Stanley (me).

Light to moderate snow been falling for half an hour. Seems to die out as it works west from Sheffield. About 2cm here. Not much added overnight. Light winds so any showers falling seem to last.

There were a few snow showers during the night which gave a very fine dusting but my part of Kent has not been as badly affected as the media reports. Despite this South Eastern Trains have suspended rail services between Tonbridge and Hastings for the 2nd day running :D

Light snow shower at 6.30am gave a slight covering over the top of yesterday evenings and yesterday mornings unthawed snow. 7cm on the grass, 4cm on roads and pavements. Slight thaw kicking in now.

Got a few flakes in the wind now.

Hi,

About 2cm fell last night on frozen surface.

Have not had anymore and the sun keeps coming out so a slow melt is happening.

Hopw to get some more today/tonight.

We had around 8cm of snow overnight in Boston, Lincs, and then have had snow showers on and off throughout the morning. More to come later too! Tis a wintery wonderland!
