well, seeing as there is no wintry ppn report thread yet for today, or indeed yesterday for the nit-pickers, i guess i'll have to report it here for now...

absolutely delighted to see some of the wintry stuff in my headlights over the hills about 30 mins ago. nothing more than a few dozen spots of sleet in the headlights, but exciting none the less. the car was recording 0.5 oC at that height, currently 2.2 oC back here at base camp where there are signs of drizzle on the cars outside! :blink:
