Several heavy showers of snow/graupel on and off during the day. Seem to have eased off now and nothing lying. Wind has also eased down to a force 5.

I should record this here just for your amazement. The low that you can see south of Greenland at this time was responsible for 115 cm of snow at Goose Bay, Labrador, which is at about the same latitude as Belfast. That's in a period of about 48 hours from noon Saturday to noon Monday. Um, 46 inches of snow, that's one inch per hour for two days.

I guess they are not having even larger teapot problems in Labrador.

Wow - yes it's chillier in Aberdeen today but snow never came into my head as a possibility! :o

Right enough though - Aberdeen = 5°, Lerwick 0° currently. -_-
