After a slight frost early yesterday evening the temperature rose about 4c overnight as thick cloud and milder air moved south west from the North Sea.

A mainly cloudy day but there were enough breaks in the stratocumulus during the morning to allow sunny intervals. A few brief, drizzly showers during the afternoon.
