Senior Forecaster for Net weather

I am unable to cancel the current Alert which was issued for wind strengths. Our leader Paul is now away on a well earned holiday. If anyone on the team knows how to cancel the Alert please do so.

A coldish spell for all and breezy along the east coast overnight with gales for a time just off shore.

Frost for many for a couple of nights.

The only snow accumulations are likely to be in the north and east, chiefly Scotland, again chiefly on ground above about 500ft. Even then 1-3cm is the most and less than that for most hills. The only exception MAY be the Grampian area.

Week Ahead: Cool but largely dry until later in the week, when low pressure returns

We keep a chilly northerly flow going through much of the coming week, especially noticeable in the east. Cloud and rain spreading south Monday, but after that, most places largely dry until later in the week, when it looks to turn more showery. Read the full update here
