The day was mostly a mixture of sunshine and wintry showers. These were snow at first, but gradually turned to hail/sleet as the day went on and the dewpoint rose. The evening has seen less in the way of clear spells keeping the temperature up. Overall it was cold for the time of year, feeling rather bitter in a strong northerly wind.
