Been cool and sunny this afternoon with a high of 8.7C and feeling warm in the sun because of no cold wind. Cloud building up, mainly cumulus, to the southeast but otherwise clear. I think the rain had held off and stayed in the south.

Well....just watched the most savage attack on a developing shower cloud that i've ever seen. First, it seems mighty dark, bulky and threatening. 30 minutes later - it's all disolved into strato-cumulus muck.

The humidity must've rocketed in that time!

The fog/mist lifted soon after midday to reveal a lovely afternoon with pleasant sunny spells. Some large TCu clouds developed over Salisbury Plain. Max of 7c.

4c now and clear.

A chilly and cloudy day, but the difference to previous days is that it was dry, none of the heavy showers of late. Still cloudy now.

Looking pretty good for many except France tonight (if you'd rather your rhubarb has something to think about). http://saturn.unibe.ch/rsbern/noaa/dw/real...ent/n1bcurr.jpg
