It has been dry all day here but in the last hour rather angry CuNims have been building and passing just to the South of us on a fresh NE wind,it looks like we are about to get our first shower of the day. Curret temperature 7.9c(feels a lot colder than that) humidity 55%,wind fresh NE,barometer 1021 mb and rising slowly. Moderate small hail shower has just started.

It's been a really good day to be out and about. A strong ENE wind, sunny spells, 6c max. Yes very cold in the wind but perfect for blowing the cobwebs away <_< .

Sunny end to the day, 5c.

After a cloudy and very cold start in the wind, the sun has been shining intermittently and it even tried to flurry this afternoon. I think it was a more of a flake in the wind as the temperature only dropped to 5.4C today.

Well I'm quite excited to report we have just experienced a short but decently heavy SNOW shower. Not sleet, not soft hail, definitely snow.

I think I saw it on the Met Office radar image about an hour ago

(at that time it was over the Vale of York/North York Moors).
