Moderate snizzle continues. Looks like someone's sprinkled wet sugar over the lawn, albeit with the careful hand of one who knows it's already gone out of fashion. At this rate we'll have enough for a snowball come May. I don't think there has ever been a winter with so many snow events and so little to show for it.

at least you are seeing something like snow - come here=zilch, but we live in hope, unlike some moaners on this site who seem never happy about most things -oops, best shut up.

regards

John

Had a period of heavyish snow overnight, which gave a wet covering to cars, grass, roofs etc to about 1cm. The snow line was about 500ft as there was little snow even at a small drop at altitude.

It thawed by around midday though.

Had snow flurries on and off all week but especially today. Looks like a disappearance of the snow now. Oh well.

bristol sucks for snow were the snowless capital of the uk official

Tell that to John Holmes

Wasn't going to say anything, but there was actual snow today - just with very large spaces of air inbetween.

...and the Enforcer. Perhaps Bristol, Abingdon and Donny should be "twinned"

Well overall, lowland West Sussex missed out in this snow event (as always). But after a short drive up the downs at 10:30 there was still a bit of the white stuff left (although it was melting very quickly). I wish i'd had my camera earlier in the morning because there was a pretty decent cover.
